Amy H. Drewek

ASL Interpreter Mentor Lead

Amy H. Drewek is the Project Administrator and Lead Interpreting Mentor with TASK12 which is part of the Center for Technical Assistance for Excellence in Special Education (TAESE).

She is currently a doctoral candidate in the Department of Interpretation and Translation at Gallaudet University, where she also earned her M.A. in Interpretation. Amy holds three national interpreting certifications from the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID); CI, CT, and NIC-Master.

Amy has worked as an interpreter, interpreter mentor, and interpreter educator throughout her 27-year career. She currently calls Tucson, Arizona her home.
