The Northern Utah Coalition on Disability (NUCD), in partnership with Neighborhood Nonprofit Housing Corporation (NNHC), will host a “Meet Your Elected Official” event on Wednesday, January 22 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in The Scenic Room at The Coppermill Restaurant, 55 North Main Street #408 in Logan. Legislators from Cache, Rich and Box Elder counties have been invited. Confirmed attendees are Sens. Peter Knudsen and Lyle Hillyard, as well as Reps. Ronda Menlove, Ed Redd, Lee Perry, and Curt Webb.

The NUCD includes representatives from the Utah State University Center for Persons with Disabilities (CPD), OPTIONS for Independence and the Grassroots Advocacy Partnership (GAP) of Utah. This event, in preparation for the upcoming session of the Utah Legislature, offers elected officials an opportunity to talk about their legislative priorities, committee assignments and the direction they foresee the legislature going during the upcoming session. There will be a question-and-answer period.

For more information or to submit questions for the legislators, contact Cherissa Alldredge, Regional Organizer with the Grassroots Advocacy Partnership (GAP) of Utah, at cherissaalldredge@gmail.com.
