AT Coordinator

Dan O'Crowley, a certified Assistive Technology Professional (ATP), started working at the Institute for Disability Research, Policy, and Practice (IDRPP) in September of 2016 with the Utah Assistive Technology Program (UATP). Dan operates as an AT Coordinator for northern Utah and is studying Mechanical Engineering at USU. At UATP, Dan provides recommendations of AT to individuals with disabilities to enable them to live life more independently, manages a demonstration and loan library of AT for individuals and professionals to check out, and modifies or manufactures custom AT. Dan's AT focus areas are Mobility, Seating and Positioning, Daily Living, and Environmental Adaptations, but is often involved with other professionals and individuals who's AT needs cover Vision, Speech Communication, Learning, Cognition and Development, Computers and Related, Recreational, Sports and Leisure.
